AI-assisted does not mean automatically approved: Airlyn creates drafts, analyses, recommendations, and edited media. Customers must review and verify AI Output before publishing, sharing, spending money, changing a listing, or relying on it for guest or safety information.
1. Scope and agreement
This AI Usage & Disclosure Policy (‘AI Policy’) applies whenever a person or organization uses an artificial-intelligence, machine-learning, grounded-search, image-analysis, image-editing, recommendation, or content-generation feature in the Airlyn Service.
This AI Policy is incorporated into the Airlyn Terms of Service. By using an AI feature, you agree to this AI Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
2. How Airlyn uses AI
Airlyn uses third-party AI providers, including OpenAI and Google Gemini, and may use AI-assisted or grounded web search. Depending on the feature, AI may analyze listing information, addresses, descriptions, calendar context, marketing profiles, uploaded reports, reviews, prompts, images, videos, guidebook content, local events, attractions, experiences, and public web information.
AI-assisted features may create marketing strategies, social and advertising copy, email drafts, listing titles and descriptions, media assessments, image edits, local recommendations, guidebook suggestions, summaries, classifications, and other materials (‘AI Output’).
Airlyn generates and stores AI Output for customer review. Unless Airlyn expressly introduces and the customer separately enables a feature that says otherwise, Airlyn does not automatically post to social platforms, purchase advertising, send marketing email, update an online-travel-agency listing, communicate with guests, or publish a guidebook.
3. Information sent to AI providers
To provide a requested feature, Airlyn may transmit Customer Content and relevant account or listing context to AI providers. This can include property addresses, media, prompts, reports, calendar-derived information, review content, guidebook information, and existing AI Output. Customers should submit only information they are authorized to use and only what is reasonably necessary for the feature.
Do not submit full payment-card data, Social Security numbers, government identifiers, health records, permanent door or alarm codes, guest-specific access credentials, or other specially regulated or highly sensitive information unless Airlyn expressly authorizes that use in writing.
Airlyn does not operate a separate general-purpose model-training pipeline using Customer Content. Third-party provider use, retention, security, and deletion are governed by the provider service, Airlyn’s account configuration, applicable contracts, and the Airlyn Privacy Policy.
4. AI limitations
AI Output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misleading, offensive, biased, unsafe, unsuitable, noncompliant, or similar to material created for other users. AI may invent facts, citations, URLs, amenities, prices, dates, availability, policies, or local information. Generated images may contain visual defects or depict things that do not exist at the property.
Airlyn does not guarantee that AI Output is unique, copyrightable, noninfringing, lawful for every audience, accepted by a platform, or appropriate for a particular property or market. Airlyn does not guarantee bookings, occupancy, ranking, engagement, revenue, advertising performance, or any other business result.
5. Required human review
You must independently review, edit, verify, and approve AI Output before publishing, distributing, relying on, spending money on, or acting upon it. Verification should use the property’s current facts, official sources, applicable law, advertising rules, fair-housing requirements, platform policies, and direct confirmation from a business, venue, or service provider when appropriate.
You are responsible for the final content, audience, claims, disclosures, prices, budgets, targeting, platform settings, publication decision, and downstream use. A customer’s approval, download, copying, publication, or distribution of AI Output is the customer’s decision.
6. Advertising, reviews, and endorsements
You may not use Airlyn to fabricate, alter, or misrepresent reviews, testimonials, endorsements, bookings, experiences, ratings, or statements as though they came from a real guest, customer, property owner, employee, influencer, or other person. You may summarize authentic reviews only when the summary is accurate and the underlying use is authorized.
You must not make false or unsubstantiated claims about a property, amenity, price, availability, accessibility feature, safety feature, view, location, affiliation, discount, or expected result. You are responsible for required sponsorship, endorsement, material-connection, synthetic-media, and AI-use disclosures.
Do not use AI Output for unlawful discrimination, exclusion, or targeting based on a protected characteristic. You are responsible for complying with fair-housing, civil-rights, advertising, consumer-protection, and platform rules that apply to your content and audience.
7. Images, media, likenesses, and intellectual property
You must have the rights and permissions needed for every image, video, logo, listing description, review, recording, person’s likeness, and other material you submit or direct Airlyn to edit. Do not use AI to impersonate a person, create deceptive synthetic media, remove rights-management information, or falsely suggest that a person or business endorsed a property.
Generated or edited media can be inaccurate and must be checked against the real property. Clearly disclose material virtual staging, synthetic features, or edits when law, platform rules, or ordinary consumer expectations require it. Do not present an AI-created amenity, view, room, condition, or experience as a current photograph of the property.
8. Local, safety, and emergency information
AI-assisted information about events, restaurants, stores, transportation, hospitals, urgent care, pharmacies, police, fire services, weather, hours, prices, addresses, websites, or availability can change or be wrong. Verify important information directly before publishing it in a guidebook or relying on it.
Airlyn is not an emergency service and AI Output is not a substitute for 911, local emergency services, official government alerts, licensed professionals, or direct safety checks. Do not rely on Airlyn for medical, legal, tax, financial, accessibility, building-code, fire-code, security, or emergency advice.
9. Public guidebooks
When a host publishes a guidebook, AI-assisted text, recommendations, and media can become available without login to anyone who has or obtains the guidebook link or QR code. The host must review every field and remove private, guest-specific, access-control, or unsafe information before publication.
Do not place permanent door codes, lockbox combinations, alarm credentials, guest-specific instructions, or other secrets in a public guidebook. A tokenized public link is a sharing mechanism, not identity verification or a guarantee of secrecy.
10. APIs, MCP, connected applications, and automation
AI assistants and connected applications may access or change Airlyn data only within the scopes and permissions the customer authorizes. Customers are responsible for reviewing consent screens, protecting keys and tokens, monitoring connected access, and revoking access that is no longer needed.
Do not configure an external agent or automated workflow to publish, delete, purchase, edit, or communicate without appropriate human approval and safeguards. Airlyn is not responsible for a third-party client’s independent prompts, storage, decisions, or actions outside the Airlyn Service.
11. Prohibited AI uses
You may not use Airlyn’s AI features to violate law or third-party rights; commit fraud; impersonate or exploit another person; create deceptive reviews or endorsements; generate unlawful discriminatory content; expose personal or confidential information improperly; create malware, spam, surveillance, harassment, or harmful instructions; bypass safety, billing, access, or rate-limit controls; probe another organization’s data; or train or build a competing service in violation of the Terms or provider restrictions.
Airlyn may block a request, remove content, restrict AI features, revoke credentials or public links, preserve relevant records, suspend access, or terminate an account when Airlyn reasonably believes use violates this AI Policy, the Terms, provider requirements, or law.
12. Ownership, similarity, and feedback
As between Airlyn and the customer, Customer Content remains the customer’s content, subject to the license in the Terms. Rights in AI Output may be limited by law, third-party rights, provider terms, or the nature of machine-generated material. Other people may receive similar or identical output.
Airlyn does not promise that AI Output can be registered, exclusively owned, or enforced as intellectual property. You are responsible for obtaining advice when ownership or clearance is important and for preserving any provider or platform provenance, watermark, or disclosure required by law or policy.
13. Changes and contact
Airlyn may update this AI Policy as features, providers, laws, and industry practices change. Material changes will be communicated as described in the Terms. Airlyn may require renewed acceptance when appropriate.
Questions or reports concerning AI use may be sent to [email protected].
